Alison Crum has made over one hundred recordings with many different groups including the Taverner Consort, the Kings Consort, the Consort of Musicke, the Parley of Instruments, the Dowland Consort, Musica Antiqua of London, Spectre de la Rose, and the Rose Consort of Viols.
As a soloist Alison can be heard on A Spagna in the Works, and Signum’s discs of the Bach gamba sonatas and Wordplay, all featured below. She is also a solosit on two Naxos discs of Marais with Spectre de la Rose - Greatest Masterworks, including Le Labyrinthe (8.550750), and Music for the Sun King, which includes the Couplets de Folies (8.553081), and with James Bowman in Buxtehude’s Jubilate Domino, Meridian CDE 84332

Alison Crum features as a soloist on Wordplay, which presents a collection of highly decorated vocal music in purely instrumental performance.
The Rose Consort recordings of English Consort music include Elizabethan Christmas Anthems on Amon Ra CD-SAR-46, and eight discs on the Naxos Label - these are Jenkins 8.550687, Gibbons 8.550603, Byrd 8.550604, Tomkins 8.550602, Lawes 8.550601, Dowland 8.553326, and Purcell 8.553957 and, a disc of Elizabethan music 8.554284. More recently they have recorded discs of Ferrabosco (father and son) and Ward, for cpo. Most of their recent releases are on the Deux-Elles and Delphian labels, featured below, and also include two discs with The Marian Consort - An Emerald in a Work of Gold, and Loquebantur.
400 years since the death of Thomas Weelkes, the Rose Consort and the Choir of Chichester Cathedral perform his music in the building where he was Organist and ‘informator choristarum’ (Master of the Choristers): pieces for both domestic and sacred performance, with anthems, pavans and In nomines for viols.
